THANKS for all the HELP! It really makes me proud to see MO-01 coming together as a team and working together to make our shows great!!! It was another profitable one for MO-01!!! We had a good turn out considering all that was going on this weekend with other barrel races/shows, graduation activities and being Mother's Day weekend. I didn't know really what to expect but was very pleased to see our numbers, 27 in the Youth, 72 in the Open, 7 in the PeeWees, 7 in the Seniors and 10 in the Adults.
Just a reminder everyone that district members who enter the Adult sidepots are earning points toward yearend awards as well. At least the first place in each division in the Adult Sidepot is running for a buckle, if the numbers go up and we can afford to give out a 2nd place in each division we will do it. The Adult Sidepot is a way the district can have additional revenue and members (19 - 49) can run for additional money at the races and prizes at the end of the year.
REMINDER - Deadline for State Finals is May 30th - MUST BE POSTMARKED by MAY 30th!!! State Finals Entry form, Sponsor Race Entry Form, Schedule of Events & Rules have been posted on the Calendar/Schedule page - please be sure to read through everything and get your entries in!
The next MO-01 Point Show is coming up on June 1- this show is BBR approved with $100 ADDED to Open, at Saline County Fairgrounds, Marshall, MO - Entry Desk Opens at 10 am, warmups start at 11 am - Races won't start before 1 pm - MO-01 will be doing the concessions so donations will be needed.
Entries taken by noon will be posted in the first draw at 12:30 pm, entries taken after that up to the first horse running in your class will go at the end of the draw. CASH ENTRIES ~ CASH PAYOUT
Please remember this is a MO-01 produced show and help will be needing in the office, gate, setting barrels, etc. Please be sure to sign up or let me know ahead of time what you can do to help out.
If anyone has a family member that normally sits and writes down times at the races let me know if they will be there this weekend and let this count as a worker credit - we like to always have a back up of times and no times to compare to if there is a discrepancy.

WORK CREDITS:
Work Credits will continue to be needed in 2013 to qualify to receive yearend awards at the district level - members are required to earn 8 work credits to be eligible for yearend awards. Workers are needed at every show to help things run smoothly and efficiently PLEASE DO YOUR PART. Please check out the Worker Credit Info sheet for ideas on how you can help or if you see a way we can improve on what we do please just email the Director.

CONCESSION:
MO-01 will be hosting the concession at certain shows so please contact Director about donation items needed and watch for email notifications - bottled water, variety of soda, desserts are always welcome. Partial credits will be given for items donated that will go toward Work Credits - see the Worker Credit Guidelines on the Member/Rules Page.
